      HTML Headers for Simple Events

      HTML Headers and Footers in Simple Event templates allows you to customize the look and feel of your website to a more branded feel, without needing to purchase a custom design for your event.

      Headers are best used combined with the use of a “Website Header Type” setting of “Use a Banner Image”. It is not recommended that you use the “Use a Logo Option” or “Simple” at all if you wish to use a HTML Header. Below is demonstrated how iVvy displays a header and banner. Obviously it will differ depending on your design requirements. The top back banner with the iVvy logo is the “HTML header” and the image is the banner.

      The width of the banner area page is 1024 pixels and the height auto sizes to what you insert into the page. The HTML header can be up to 1980 pixels wide depending on how you wish to customize your design. 

       

       

       

      To add a banner and header to your Simple Event:

      1. Navigate to Event Setup > Website > Website Tab
      2. Scroll down to “Website Header Type” and upload a banner.
      3. Next, scroll down to the header box, and insert your HTML and save.
      4. Click “View Event Website” on the top right hand corner of your screen to display the changes.
