Adding Speakers To A Session / Function

Learn how to associate your guest speakers with the Sessions / Functions for your event.

Once a session / function and a speaker have both been created, you can allocate a speaker to a session / function so that the program page gives a link to the speaker from the relevant session / function.

To add a speaker to a session / function (The speaker has to be created before they can be linked to a session / function):

  1. Navigate to Event Setup > Sessions / Functions
  2. Select and Edit the session / function or Create a new session / function. 
  3. Scroll down to the speakers box and tick the relevant speaker.
  4. Click 'Save'

Note: This process does not allocate the session / function to the speaker on the confirmation emails that are sent to authors in the abstracts process.
