Adding Images to HTML Document Templates.

Learn how to add images to your HTML Document Templates to personalise your documents.

You can add images to your HTML Document to enhance the appeal of your Quotes, Contract and/or BEO. 

To insert an image into your template;

  1. Navigate to: Setup > Template > Document Templates.

  2. Add Template (or can edit a existing one).

  3. Select the Template you would like to create- Generic Templates are a great place to start as it has already pre-populated key element to assist you.

  4. Place your curser where you would like the image to land

  5. Select the "Add Image" button Add Image

  6. Click on the “Browse Server” button in the dialog box.

    Note - It is best to resize the image to the appropriate size that it will appear in the document prior to uploading. Images resized directly in the document may appear blurry.

  7. Click either a image that already exists in your Image library or click “Add Image” and choose a new image to upload on the following page.

  8. Once the image has been added, select it from the list of images on the previous screen.

  9. Other features that can be added to the image are

    1. You can change the Width and the Height of the image directly in the image properties dialog box.
      Note: Images resized directly in the document may appear blurry.

    2. Border: If you wish to have a border, you can add the size as 1, or to make it thicker, you can put in a 2 or a 3 etc.

    3. If you wish the table to have no border, so it just displays the text in a better aligned manner than put the border size as 0.

    4. HSpace HSpace: To give an image empty space around its border, enter the number of pixels into the Horizontal and Vertical Space fields.

    5. Align: To wrap text around the image, select either a “left” or “right” ‘alignment’ and click on “OK

  10. Click on the “Save” button, and navigate to a quote or booking to test the output of the updated template.
  11. Should you need to change the image settings, double click on your image and the "Browse Server" box will pop up for your to edit.
